Mercy Missions Foundation

Mercy Missions Foundation (MMF) is a not-for-profit organization that seeks not only to make the name of Jesus famous in developing and disenfranchised areas of the world, but helps meet other basic needs such as clothing, hygienic supplies, nutrition, education, and medical care via charitable donations.

"Now this I say, he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must do just as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed."~ 2 Corinthians 9:6-8

Brazil

One of Mercy Missions Foundation's (MMF) first international outreaches became reality in Belo Horizonte; the state of Minas Gerais' capital city.  Belo Horizonte is ranked as Brazil's third most populated metropolis.  Brazil itself was estimated in 2012 to have over 24,000 street children.  MMF has been working to spread the Gospel to these street children and their families for nearly two decades and has witnessed hundreds of families transition from the streets to becoming contributing members of Brazilian society.  MMF has helped to erect Mercy Church (La Misericordia) in Belo Horizonte, Brazil and has also provided clothing, hygienic and medical supplies, as well as training in trades that have enabled men and women, young and old, to change the trajectory of their lives.

Colombia

Our most recent project is located in the city of Zarzal where we are working to build a house of worship.

Cuba

We have been partnering with local parishioners in Cuba for over 20 years and have offered training and financial support to dozens of churches and ministries.  We are currently partnering with a local ministry in Moa to build a new temple.  We are also working to create a school for sewing specifically for the the deaf and mute.

Dominican Republic

Mercy Missions Foundation has been been working in the Dominican Republic for close to 3 decades, but have most recently been focusing on the town of Haina located in the province of San Cristóbal.  We have been partnering with local ministers to take women off the streets and provide them with work that will help sustain their families.  We have been able to accomplish this in part by enrolling them in a program that teaches them to sew and fashion clothing.

India

Within Trivandrum (also known as Thiruvananthapuram), the capital and largest city of the Indian state of Kerala, Mercy Church Of God’s newest partnership was birthed March 17, 2017 with the Sathya Veda Seminary (www.svsindia.org)-- a ministry led by the Reverend Dr. Gnandas Danam. This ministry is dedicated to training and equipping men and women from remote villages in India and South Asia who are committed to the sharing the Gospel with those same remote villages all over the country and continent. Dr. Gnandas Danam, also known as Dr. Das, is additionally a partner and leader within the 500,000 Churches movement in India (www.500000churches.com). By way of this collaboration, Mercy Church of God will help to advance the Great Commission in India and South Asia.

Panama

Panama is the home of the ingenious Panama Canal that serves as a link between the North and South American continents and also facilitates international trade by connecting the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.  It also happens to be the place where Mercy Missions Foundation’s next assignment is located- Garachiné: a small village within the Darién Province with an approximate population of 1900.  It’s where Bishop Daniel and Marlene Encarnación committed their lives to spreading the Gospel to the surrounding indigenous villages a little over three years ago and MMF has partnered with them to build a missions school purposed for training and equipping those with a heart for missions to go back to their respective villages and share the Word of God which is life itself.

Paraguay

Mercy Missions Foundation is also privileged to have been able to provide 3 meals a day to over 1,000 children in 7 different feeding centers within the city of Encarnacion over the last 2  years.

South Sudan

South Sudan gained its dependence from Sudan in 2011 and is the newest country of the Eastern African territory. Because of South Sudan’s perceived political alliances, there is constant strife and conflict, as in many other African nations.  People are crying out for truth and MMF has been privileged to part of the movement currently taking place to spread the Gospel over the last 4 years.  We are currently working arduously in the city of Juba to build a temple where the locals can gather in worship.

Uganda

Mercy Missions Foundation has been working in Uganda for over 1 decade.  During this time, we have erected an orphanage in Bwaise and help to provide food, clothing, and education for over 100 children. We have also established a clinic in Lwakaka and help to provide medical supplies and equipment that service hundreds of locals, not only in Lwakaka, but in the surrounding villages.

Venezula

MMF has also collaborated with a ministry located in the town of Ojeda, in the state of Zulia, Venezuela (the state harboring the largest population among Venezuela’s states) with the aim of building a local church in which the townspeople may congregate.

There is much work to be done.  We are a local church with a global vision and are blessed to have partnered with hundreds over the years to help reach others with Gospel.  If you would like to partner with us financially, visit our giving page and specify the project for which you are donating.  Alternatively, you may mail your donation to the address below.  Many thanks, in advance, and may God bless you 1000-fold.
