Pastors John and Wally Roca have been part of the story from the beginning. Their parents were also pioneers of Mercy Church where John and Wally grew up, learned to love Christ and each other, and now have three children who are making their own contributions to the story. Pastors John and Wally have dedicated themselves to reaching the youth within our community for Christ and are founders of the Ground Shakers Movement.
Pastor Fernando Castro has been an integral part of Mercy Church for over two decades. Like the lead and assistant pastors, Pastor Castro also has a passion for missions and has most recently aided in the planting of a church in Colombia. Pastor Castro currently lives in Bergen County with his wife Miriam, has three children, and one grandchild.
Evelyn Tapia is the administrator for Mercy Church. She has been an integral part of Mercy Church for over fifteen years. Evelyn has a passion for aiding those in need both locally and internationally. Her biggest passion is helping single moms and children in need. She currently lives in Bergen County with her two daughters.
